What is covered by the UVG?
Since each employee must be insured against accidents according to the Swiss Accident Insurance Act (UVG), this insurance is mandatory. The accident insurance offered by quitt.ch is the cheapest of its kind in Switzerland and includes accident insurance against occupational accidents (BU) and, from
eight working hours per week
, also the non-occupational accident insurance (NBU). No Minimum premium - you only pay the insurance premium for the actual hours worked for.
Why does the quitt.ch UVG have such a favorable price?
It's simple: The accident insurance of quitt.ch is provided by and taken out for all registered customers at Generali. Through this association you benefit from special rates which quitt.ch passes on to you.
If you have already insured your domestic workers against occupational and non-occupational accidents, please remove the insurance in order to avoid to be insured twice.

What is covered by the KTG?
The sick pay insurance is optional, however highly recommended. As a private employer you are obliged, once the probationary period has expired, to continue to pay your domestic help's wages for a certain period of time in the event of illness. Therefore, it is well worth taking out such an insurance. The KTG prevents you from continues wage pay obligations and your employee from prolonged loss of pay. Damage caused by an employee at work is usually not covered by the employee’ private liability insurance. Our household insurance fills this gap by protecting the employer’ household effects from potential damage caused by his or her employee(s).
